Knowing
Chester was in a meditative state as the Master softly spoke, "I'm now going to give you ancient information. I am going to tell you how to become your true self without using the normal tools of life."
Chester knew that slighty nodding his head was enough for the Master to continue yet kept him the receptive state of his inner calm. He inhaled a little more in anticpation of more wisdom but kept his thoughts and his curiosity as still as a placid lake reflecting the moon.
The Master kept his voice soft so as to not disrupt to Chester's state of focus. "There is a knowing that can not come from thoughts or feelings. You can not hear it or taste it or hold it yet it is more real than the world around you. By calming the storm of your mind you can feel the sweet knowing within that tells you who you are. You listen not, you feel not, you think not then, then you know. To know is to transcend that which hides what you know. To break the veil of illusion that holds your soul in captivity and keeps you from returning to your ineffable Tao Father Mother Source.
The Master lowered his voice and began whispering in English.

An hour later Chester opened eyes to an empty room. He uncurled himself from the pillow and mindfully and most calmly nodded his head and smiled. If the Master had looked into Chester's eyes right then he would have seen the look of a man who knows.
