Reality

The Master and Chester were practicing the meditation of sunrise. The transistion of morning or evening had special mystic meaning. As the first rays of sunrise reddened the ever changing clouds, the Master gave Chester his first chaqtah, the test of understanding. "You claim to be a Master of Science. Take what you have learned from science and what you have learned from me and teach me. Tell me of reality."

Chester felt words were inadequate yet he tried. "I have learned of Infinity and of Awareness. The Universe I experience happens because my awareness manifests a reality out of the infinite unmanifested possibilities."

Chester took a breath. "I have discovered the Wisdom of Balance, all of reality can be understood as a balance of opposites." Chester licked his lips. "I understand Time as the opposite of Eternity. Time is relative yet Eternity is Absolute."

The Master said, "Science has five wisdoms, alone they are a puzzle. Blended with the knowledge of God they reveal a Great Mystery. A Master understands this Great Mystery. Chester are you a Master?"

Chester said. "The final piece of wisdom, science brings to all of us, is the knowledge of the Oneness of everything. I seek for Oneness with God! I recognize I forgot I came from God and now I seek my Eternal union within The Kingdom of God."

The Master simply said. "You have passed the first chaqtah."

Chester didn't answer, He was lost into the morning meditation.
